WHO Talk – 'Don't Jump' – The Railway Collision at Loughborough Central

The next WHO meeting is Tuesday 19th November when Alan Godber will give a talk called “‘Don’t Jump’ – the railway collision at Loughborough Central“.

In 1933 there was a fatal accident on the Great Central Railway in Loughborough. Alan Godber has researched and written about this event and brings us the background to it as well as revealing the lives of the people involved in this tragedy.

This talk will take place in the WHO’s usual venue: the Jubilee Room of Wymeswold Memorial Hall, Clay Street, Wymeswold, LE12 6TY and start promptly at 7.45 p.m.. Non-members most welcome but will be asked to contribute £3.00. There is a lift to the Jubilee Room if visitors have difficulty with stairs.
