National Garden Scheme gardens open in Wymeswold

Although the Wymeswold Garden Walkabout sadly won’t be happening this year, two gardens in Wymeswold will be open to the public next month.
Number 88 and number 109 Brook Street will be open on Saturday and Sunday 8/9 June from 2- 5 pm. Admission is £6 for adults but children are free.

The gardens will be open under the National Garden Scheme (NGS). The NGS is a charity which raises money for The Queen’s Nursing Institute, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Carers Trust and Parkinson’s UK. Both gardens have been featured in national garden magazines.

Plants will be on sale at number 109 Brook Street, where teas, coffees and cakes will also be on sale. Plants will be on sale at number 88 Brook Street, where work by local artists will also be on sale.
