Wymeswold Parochial Charities consist of the Wymeswold Parochial Charity and the Wymeswold Allotment Charity.
The income that these Charities receive from land rents and allotment rents is distributed in various different ways to sections of our Community.

Annual Winter Gifts:
These gifts are available to Pensioners over the age of 65, who have lived in the Parish for 2 or more years and also to Widows and Widowers of the Parish.
We do try to maintain an up to date list but if you think that you have been omitted from the list, or know someone who has, please let us know.

Joseph Thomson Educational Grant:
These grants are available to Parishioners who are embarking upon further training or studies. The grant is to cover costs of items which are deemed to be essential and beneficial to the training/studies.

Gifts to Village Organisations:
These gifts are available to non-profit making organisations within the Parish who provide a benefit for Parishioners.
If you are a new organisation or feel that you have been omitted in the past, please let us know.

If you feel that you are eligible for one of the above and would like to apply to the Charities for one of these gifts/grants please contact the clerk

Allotments:
There are two allotment plots within the village, one on East Road and one behind the Memorial Hall. If you would be interested in taking on an allotment, please contact the clerk.
